IN SCHOOLS
Supporting Youth to Ensure Academic Success
Since 1999, we have contributed to the development of youth in the Anoka, Ramsey, Andover, and Coon Rapids areas through our wide range of programs. Our school year programming is meeting the youth where they are - in their schools.
We have a vital partnership with the Anoka Hennepin School District, allowing us to offer essential 'in-school' support services in select schools to provide for the needs of students who may need additional resources. From shadowing classes to after school homework help, school supplies, and teaching organizational skills - youth are supported by staff who are there to ensure success in school.
Our staff collaborate closely with student success teams to pinpoint at-risk students, considering factors such as attendance, behavior, and academic performance. We work one-on-one with these students to establish achievable goals aimed at improving their success in school. Moreover, we actively encourage their participation in our out-of-school time programs, ensuring they receive year-round support services.
